Yes! We have metal barricades with a powder coated finish, that allows for vibrant colors that are much more weather-resistant than regular paint.
The standard barricade color is natural steel, but with powder coating, they are available in black, yellow, and orange.
Unfortunately, we currently do not offer barricades in custom colors. However, we provide fully customizable barricade covers that can be made in any color or with any printed design. Make any barricade blend seamlessly into your desired location with custom barricade covers!
Our metal barricades are made from steel. Metal barricades are sturdier than plastic alternatives and are particularly suitable for areas with heavy pedestrian traffic where people may lean against or bump into the barricades.
Steel has lower thermal conductivity, meaning it does not heat up as quickly as other metals, making it ideal for barricades that will be outdoors for extended periods.
Yes! Every barricade we sell is weather-resistant, with options like Hot Dip Galvanized, Pre-Galvanized, or Powder Coated finishes.
Hot Dip Galvanized: After assembly, the barricade is hot-dipped in a zinc coating. This finish offers the most durability.
Pre-Galvanized: Barricade parts are dipped in zinc coating before assembly. This reduces the cost, but it creates some vulnerabilities in the coating.
Powder Coated: A dry powder is applied to the barricade and then cured under heat. It forms a hard finish that protects against rust and corrosion.
It will vary depending on the size of the barricade and gauge.
Our lighter barricade is the 6.5 ft LightGuard S-800, at 37 Lbs.
Our heavier barricade is the 6 ft x 8 ft DuraGuard S-300, at 61 Lbs.
Barricades can vary in height, depending on their model. Most of our barricade models are 42 or 43 inches high, including the feet. Our extra tall model stands at 72 inches in height, including the feet. Typically, the barricade feet elevate the barrier around 9 inches from the ground.
Yes, we offer barricades with both removable and fixed feet. For barricades with removable feet, we provide several options such as flat feet, bridge feet, or sliding gate feet.
Flat feet are ideal for even surfaces like pavement and can be bolted down for added stability. Bridge feet are suitable for uneven terrain such as grass or steep areas.
Sliding gate feet can transform your barricade into a gate, providing an entryway to facilitate the passage of workers and equipment.
Our barricades are designed with a secure hook and loop system for interconnection.
One side features two hooks, while the other side has two loops.
To prevent crowds from being able to simply lift the barricade and unhook them, the hook on top is bent.
To connect or disconnect the panels, the top hook should be inserted into the loop at an angle of approximately 30 degrees.
No! You can buy as many or as few barricades as you need. If you're having trouble purchasing metal barricades from our website, please contact one of our vendors at 866-202-6753 or 888-766-2615.
